Three people were injured after a collision involving three cars in Hounslow .

Great West Road (the A4) was forced to close and buses were placed on divert after the three car crash on Thursday (August 17) morning.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police were called to three cars in collision at 8.05am.

"Three people were described as having suffered minor injuries.

"Roads were closed as the scene was cleared."

Transport for London tweeted that bus routes 111, 120 and H91 were diverted due to the traffic collision.

The road reopened at around 9.20am.

Police confirmed there are no reports of any arrests.
