Archibold Mensah, a 28-year-old "security man" who supplied cannabis, has been jailed for a total term of eight months after activating a prior suspended sentence.

He was jailed at Isleworth Crown Court on July 13.

Raj Clare, CPS reviewing lawyer, said: "Some of the operators of this brothel claimed they did not know that helping to run a brothel was illegal but after being arrested and while on police bail they simply carried on.

"They made significant sums of money, providing instructions to sex workers, arranging rotas and arranging to sell cannabis.

"If you profit from running a brothel, you are breaking the law and will face prosecution."
