Staff from the North West London Hospitals were able to take a break from the demanding day job to get much deserved recognition for the work they do.

The Pride of North West London Awards was held at Northwick Park Hospital on Tuesday, November 19 and finished off two months of nominating from staff, patients and Harrow Observer readers.

David McVittie, chief executive of North West London Hospitals, presented the awards across 10 categories.

Among the winners were doctors from the A&E department, the haematology team, administration staff and the team from Jack’s Place.

The Harrow Observer was the media partner at the awards and selected the resuscitation team in A&E as the winners of the paper’s special award.
