Hillingdon food outlets have raised more than £24,000 for the Nepal Earthquake Relief.
The funds bought tents and blankets to be distributed in the Shindupalchowk District in Nepal.
Nayan Chande, director of Tamara Lounge, chose to help the cause due to the long-serving Nepalese staff in the restaurant team.
He said: “From them we got to really know the sheer destruction that had taken place.
“Along with seeing this through the news, it was something myself and my business partner felt we would like to go the extra mile to help the cause in whatever way we could.
“What started as a very small picture, turned into something fairly large-scale and the amount of donations we received was phenomenal.”
The restaurant flew two members of staff, a company director and the general manager out to the stricken country to oversee the distribution of goods.
This was funded personally by the members of staff to ensure “every single penny that has been raised so far has gone to the cause”.
Mr Chande added: “This is just the beginning of our journey to support the cause and we will be holding various fund raisers in the coming months.”
