Staff and students at a high school in Brent are celebrating their recent 'outstanding' Ofsted report.
Ofsted has praised Claremont High School for ensuring all groups of students at the school achieve a high standard.
It is the first secondary school in Brent to receive two consecutive 'outstanding' Ofsted reports.
The latest, conducted on May 13 and 14 this year, reported that: “Relationships between staff and students are extremely purposeful and make a marked contribution to the students’ high levels of achievement.
“Students were unanimous in their view that all staff expect them to do extremely well at school, which helps to build their confidence.”
Headteacher Terry Malloy said: “We are proud to be the first secondary school in Brent to achieve an Ofsted outstanding grading under the new framework in all categories, a coveted designation that not only reflects the commitment and hard work of all key stakeholders, but also reaffirms Claremont’s position as a lead school on a local and national scale."
