Two men arrested as part of an investigation into suspected cannabis production at a garden shed where a fire broke out this week have both been bailed.

The 29-year-olds were detained on Tuesday (February 17) following a blast in the rear garden of a house in Springwell Road, Heston, that morning, which sent flames tearing through the outbuilding.

The men, both of whom were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the production of a controlled substance, were bailed the following day by police.

One, who police said was still being treated in hospital for serious burns on Wednesday, was bailed to return for questioning in early March. The other was bailed to return in mid-April.
