A three car pile-up on the elevated section of the M4 is causing severe congestion between Chiswick and Hammersmith.
One lane has been blocked and motorists face long delays out of town after junction 1 on the M4, between Chiswick roundabout and the Hammersmith flyover junction.
Two silver BMWs and one Mercedes were involved in the crash.
Police said they were called just before 8.30am on Monday (March 2) to three cars involved in a collision.
A police spokesman said: "Road closures are in place as all the vehicles need to be removed.
"There is congestion in the area.
"There are no indication of injuries."
