Three people will appear in court in March following an anti-third runway protest at Heathrow Airport.

Geneieve Scherer, Simon Bramwell and Daniel Keeler have all be charged with obstructing a tunnel/tunnel access road at Heathrow Airport following an incident on the morning of February 21.

Two other men were also arrested at the time but have not been charged.

Scherer, aged 70 and from Leppoc Road, Lambeth, Bramwell, aged 40 and from The Old Common in Chalford, Stroud, and 35-year-old Keller, from Mutchett’s Yard Watford, were charged on the day of the incident and bailed to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on March 8.

The others arrested, aged 34 and 23, have been baled to a date in mid-March.

The charges come after a car blocked the tunnel leading to Terminals 2 and 3, leading to huge traffic jams around the airport.
