It's been another week where crime has dominated the most read stories on getwestlondon .
A teenage girl was stabbed in Hayes while a deliver driver was punched and robbed in Ealing .
But there was more light-hearted relief when CCTV showed police's unusual but highly effective method of catching a criminal in Fulham.
There was a curmudgeonly letter to a paramedic responding to an emergency call, and sadly a death on the train tracks.

Teen girl stabbed in street fight
A girl was rushed to hospital with stab injuries following a street fight in Hayes .
It happened on Wednesday, July 5 in Uxbridge Road , with the teenage victim taken to a major trauma centre.
Police later said her injuries were not life threatening.
Thief caught red-handed
Jake Nedd could not believe his luck when he saw an unlocked car while cycling along Dawes Road in Fulham .
He stopped to help himself to belongings, before jumping back on his cycle to pedal away.
But his luck ran out when police form Hammersmith and Fulham caught him red-handed.
Nedd’s bid to escape from the boys in blue came to an undignified end when he was “nudged” over the police van and arrested .
He was jailed for 28 weeks.
Cash delivery driver punched and robbed
Police launched an investigation after a delivery driver was punched in the face during a robbery in Ealing Broadway .
The victim was approached by a male suspect as he was carrying a box of cash to the van outside the HSBC Bank on Tuesday July 4, at around 12.15pm.
Police say the suspect punched him before making off with the cash box on the back of a moped which was driven away by another male in the direction of Spring Bridge Road.
The victim was not seriously injured as a result of the incident.
Grumpy resident ticks of ambulance paramedics
A shirty note to paramedics on a London Ambulance Service (LAS) vehicle responding to an emergency call in Harrow had readers stunned.
The hand-written message ticked off paramedics for blocking a drive, and read: “Next time do not park in front of someone else’s driveway when you have plenty of space in front of the house you came to attend!!”
It turned out that the call they were making was an emergency situation and medics had left enough room for an ambulance to arrive - hence temporarily blocking a neighbouring driveway.
“Sometimes we have to block [your] drive,” the paramedics responded. “We’re sorry, but it’s an emergency.”
There’s no pleasing some people.
Tragedy on the train tracks
A man died after being hit by a train at Hayes and Harlington station .
The 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday (July 1).
The fatality is not being treated as suspicious.
