A man found unresponsive at a park in Hayes was pronounced dead at the scene, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to Hayes End Recreational Park in West Drayton Road just before 8am after reports of a man found unresponsive.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, just off Uxbridge Road.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 7.52am on Friday (March 24) to a park area in West Drayton Road, Hillingdon to a report of a man found unresponsive.
“Officers attended. A man (no further details) was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Police did not release details of the man's age or identity but said his next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated suspicious at this time, police said.
He has not been formally identified but the Met added that a post mortem will take place “in due course".
This is the second time this year a body has been found at this park after a woman in her 20s was found dead on New Year's Eve.
