Police did not release details of the man's age or identity but said his next of kin have been informed.

The death is not being treated suspicious at this time, police said.

He has not been formally identified but the Met added that a post mortem will take place “in due course".

This is the second time this year a body has been found at this park after a woman in her 20s was found dead on New Year's Eve.
