Firefighters were called to Lundy Drive at around 12.22pm on Monday (April 10) and the fire was affecting the ground, first floor and roof of the house.
The blaze spread to the roofs of other houses with a total of four other properties affected.
LFB said that the fire was brought under control at around 3.12pm but firefighters remained on the scene to continue damping down.
A statement from the fire brigade said: "Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a row of terraced houses on Lundy Drive in Hayes this afternoon.
"The fire affected the roofs of four houses. The ground and first floor of one of the properties and the first floor of another were also involved in the blaze.
"The Brigade was called at 12.22pm and the fire was under control at 3.12pm Firefighters will remain at the scene damping down for some time.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation."
At its peak 60 firefighters and eight fire engines were on the scene.
