A teenager has been stabbed multiple times in the same Harrow road a fatal knife attack resulted in the death of a man in November.

The Metropolitan Police was called to Northolt Road on January 9 at around 9.48pm to reports of an assault in the South Harrow area.

A spokesman for the force told getwestlondon: "On arrival, officers found a 19-year-old man with cuts to his face.

"He was taken to hospital, treated for a knife wound to the face and stomach wound, and subsequently discharged."

A Harrow CID confirmed that no arrests have been made and enquiries still continue as to what happened in Northolt Road.

It comes just weeks after 19-year-old Hussein Ahmed from Edgware was taken off life support and died after being knifed just yards away from the spot where police are investigating the most recent incident.

He had been stabbed in Northolt Road , outside Kebabish takeaway near South Harrow Tube station, on Friday November 18.

Tributes had been paid by Harrow residents who were shocked at the tragic news.

Sue Cohen, who works nearby, said at the time her heart went out to the victim’s parents.

She said: "It’s absolutely tragic. I keep thinking of the parents getting a knock on the door."

Businesses in the area had previously called for more police patrols after they described the first incident as "not uncommon" for South Harrow.
