Hundreds of runners of all ages took to the streets of Harrow to take part in this year's Half Marathon after a decade's hiatus.

The 13.1-mile race took participants on a tour of the borough, passing iconic landmarks, buildings and open spaces, on Sunday September 17.

Mohammed Ismail took the winning title in a time of 01:14:02, while Lucy Ashe from Harrow Athletics Club was the first female across the finish line in 01:24:43.

Children and parents enjoyed the Sir Roger Bannister Family Mile, including Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas , who raised money for Harrow Food Bank and Spirewatch.

The Labour Party MP came last - but for an adorable reason - as he carried his daughter for the entire mile!
