Harlesden Road is partially shut down while Thames Water work to fix a burst water main on Tuesday morning (December 12).

The road was closed between Peter Avenue and Kings Road at around 6am and motorists have been told to expect disruption and delays in the area.

The burst main has caused residents to experience low water pressure and some to have no running water at all.

A Thames Water spokesman told getwestlondon: “We’re sorry for the disruption our burst pipe has caused. Water supplies were back to normal mid-morning and we’ll stay in the area supporting those customers who have been affected for as long as they need us. Our repairs to the burst pipe on Harlesden Road are expected to go on until later in the week but we’ll do all we can to be off the road as soon as possible.”

Thames Water confirmed that repairs on the burst main are expected to go on all week.
