Unusually warmer weather has been forecast for London after a week of freezing cold temperatures and snow.
The Met Office has said the cold snap "is not quite as bitter" from the week beginning February 13 and Londoners can even expect some sunny spells.
A forecaster said: "Feeling less cold than of late, with higher temperatures and lighter southeasterly winds.
"The outlook for Thursday to Saturday mainly dry and mild but on the cloudy side at times as lighter winds lead to areas of morning mist and fog."
A maximum temperature 11 °C, uncharacteristically warm for this time of year.
It comes after a freezing cold spell saw snow fall in London last week, with the Met Office issuing a yellow severe weather warning and temperatures plunging to -1°C.
