Six firefighters will run from Devon to west London to raise money for colleagues who battled the Grenfell Tower blaze.

The crew from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service will run 200 miles in a Run4Grenfell relay from its headquarters in Exeter to North Kensington fire station, which had the first appliance at the scene of the devastating fire.

They will set off at 9am on July 14 - exactly a month after the blaze broke out - and aim to reach the Ladbroke Grove station by 8pm the following day (July 15), when they will present the Red Watch with a plaque as a mark of respect of the work carried out by the London Fire Brigade (LFB).

So far they have raised nearly half their target, with £1,205 pledged.
