Commuters can now grab their much-needed caffeine fix on-the-go after a new Starbucks opened at a west London Underground station.

The new branch at Wood Lane Tube station started serving customers on Wednesday (September 28), with the creation of 10 jobs.

It will be operated by franchisee Arabica Coffee Company, and the store’s team is handing out vouchers this week to commuters and local residents in Wood Lane, and the neighbouring White City station, offering visitors a free tall drink on their first visit.

Starbucks said it was excited to be opening at Wood Lane, which it described as a fantastic location, and Arabica Coffee Company operations leader Surme Kaynak said: “We are looking forward to getting to know our customers as well as getting involved and supporting local community events.”

Last year Starbucks opened a new London branch which served alcohol.
