General Election 2017: Candidates announced for the Chelsea and Fulham seat

There are five candidates vying to become MP for the constituency won by the Conservatives in the last General Election

The nation goes to the polls on June 8

Five candidates will battle it out for the Chelsea and Fulham constituency in the General Election next month.

The Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Green Party and UKIP have all thrown their hat in the ring ahead of the June 8 poll.

The seat was held by Tory MP Greg Hands, who won a secured a majority of more than 16,000 in the 2015 election.

The list of candidates are:

  • Bill Cashmore (Green Party)
  • Alan De’Ath (Labour Party)
  • Greg Hands (Conservative Party)
  • Louise Rowntree (Liberal Democrats)
  • Alasdair Seton-Marsden (UKIP)

Polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm, with the result expected to be announced in the early hours of Friday (June 9) morning.
