Police have detained four boys in custody after a car lost control and smashed through a brick wall in West Drayton.

The incident happened on Sunday night (June 25) and four boys, aged 13, 15, 16 and 17, were arrested by Hillingdon Police.

Many of the youngsters had attempted to flee the scene of the crash but were arrested and put in police custody.

The silver car was being driven erratically near Stockley Park when it crashed into a brick wall and fence in Chestnut Avenue at around 9.30pm.

Police told getwestlondon that the driver had lost control of the vehicle while attempting a u-turn.

Police tweeted that the silver car had no MOT or tax and that the driver was not insured

In a tweet the police said the car was being driven with no MOT, no tax and no insurance.

Despite the car being damaged as a result of the crash, no injuries were sustained and police are continuing to make inquiries.
