Users of a park in Isleworth have been urged to help shape its future.

Hounslow Council will tomorrow (Saturday, December 5) launch a four-month consultation about how Redlees Park, in Twickenham Road, should be maintained in coming years.

People can share their views at two events tomorrow:

* From 1pm-3pm at Redlees Art Studios and Leisure Centre, Redlees Park, Isleworth, TW7 6DW

* From 3.30pm-5pm at the Isleworth Christmas market, Isleworth Public Hall, South Street, Isleworth, TW7 7BG

The consultation will run until the end of March, with the feedback used by consultants Adams & Sutherland to produce a 'masterplan' to increase visitor numbers and enhance facilities at the park.

Possible changes to the playground, sports and changing facilities and car parking are among a range of items they will consider.

Councillor Ed Mayne, cabinet member for public health and leisure said: "Redlees Park is an important part of the community here in the borough.

"Therefore we want to give our residents and all those who visit the park the chance to tell us how they think we can maintain and improve Redlees Park so it can be enjoyed by many more generations."

Redlees Park hosted the Be Inspired Festival in September, at which Billy Ocean and a host of rugby stars helped pull in nearly 10,000 people.
