A fight broke out at a football club in Harefield on Friday (June 10) which led to four people suffering injuries and two being taken to hospital for treatment.

Police were called to Harefield United Football Club in Breakspear Road North just before 9pm to reports that a fight erupted, described by the ambulance service as a 'mass brawl'.

On arrival officers found the fighting had stopped but four people had been injured in the ruckus.

One person refused treatment by London Ambulance Service while two of the injured people were taken to separate hospitals for treatment for intoxication.

Spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Jonathan Southgate said: “Police were called at 8.55pm to reports of a fight at Harefield FC.

“There were four injured parties. When they attended there was no fighting but there were four injured parties.

“None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.”

He added that so far there had been no arrests in connection with this incident.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.55pm on June 10 to reports of a mass brawl near Gilbert Road, Harefield.

"We sent ambulance crews, a single responder by car and an incident response officer to the scene.

"We treat two men at the scene for intoxication and took them to hospital."
