A dance group from Northolt who scared Simon Cowell dressed as clowns are gearing up for the semi-final of Britain's Got Talent.
TNG spooked the nation when they entered the talent contest to horror music wearing make-up and clown outfits.
The audition saw members, aged 16-25, get in the faces of judges and the audience before breaking out into a dance routine.
It impressed judges, including Simon Cowell who is known to be scared of clowns, which led the group to the semi-final at 7.30pm on Friday (June 2) on ITV.
Founder Ricky Labib started TNG, which stands for The Next Generation, in 2010 at the old LA Fitness gym in Northolt.
The 30-year-old, from Greenford, said: "I opened to make dance and arts affordable and accessible.
"I was lucky to have a single mum, Gayle Labib, who did best for every one of us to make sure I could pursue my dreams."
He moved the group to Northolt Leisure Centre in 2015, offering ballet, theatre, street dance and more to people aged 3 to 25.
Attendees excelled so much Mr Labib sought an audition for Britain's Got Talent.
He knew judge Mr Cowell was scared of clowns, and decided to buy costumes in an attempt to spook the famously hard-to-please 57-year-old.
Mr Labib added: "I thought right, we have so much talent here.
"They want to perform, they really want to take this seriously.
"We were really keen to try something different. It was important that we set ourselves apart.
"It was about making a statement.
"It (clown outfits) was because there were conversations. We were looking at what we were going to do and we thought, it is known that Simon is petrified of clowns.
"So we thought let's just take it there, he will love it or hate it. It is a family tradition everyone can relate to."
Mr Labib said he is thrilled to have made it as far as the semi-final and said he is proud of his group.
He added: "If you had asked me 10 years ago I would not have believed it.
"I do this for them, it is my job to make sure I can provide.
"I was petrified (during the audition), I was in the audience, I got as nervous as them."
