Vampires will for once enjoy crosses and mummies’ bandages could be useful in injury time as they join their frightening friends in watching Brentford FC take on Derby County this weekend.

The Griffin Park club is set to be invaded by ghosts, ghouls and goblins on Saturday (1) to celebrate Halloween.

The Bees will lock horns with the current Championship league leaders and hot promotion favourites in a 3pm kick-off.

Anyone who feels like giving their trick or treating costumes another airing before returning them to the hire shops is welcome to wear them.

All supporters, young and old, can take part and get in to the spirit of the day.

The best dressed will get the chance to step on to the hallowed turf (those coming as the undead need not fear getting burned!) at half time and the fan with the best costume will win a signed Brentford shirt.

So, get out the ghastly make-up and scary outfits ready for the Brentford FC Halloween fancy dress competition.
