An interactive map has revealed the shocking amount of fly-tipping that takes place on a daily basis in Brent.

In less than five days in October 2017, there were 612 cases of street littering reported in the borough, 422 of which were fly-tipping.

On Friday (October 6) by 2pm alone there were 141 cases of littering reported in Brent.

These were flagged on an interactive Love Clean Streets map from Monday (October 2) to Friday (October 6).

The map allows people to report littering in real time and revealed that some Brent streets are suffering a fly-tipping plight.

Cases are broken down into categories that include, fly-tipping, potholes and even dog-fouling.

Sudbury Avenue - 39 reports

In the streets around Sudbury Avenue there were 39 counts of littering reported

The streets around Sudbury Avenue was the area worst hit with 39 counts of flytipping reported there from Monday to Friday.

The street most dumped on was Harrowdene Close with 11 fly-tipping cases.

The roads coming off Repton Avenue were also a hotspot for rubbish with 18 reports of fly-tipping there.

Watford Road - 32 reports

The streets on both sides of the junction between Harrow Road and Watford road were laden with rubbish, with 32 counts of littering reported there.

There were 18 counts of reported fly-tipping on the roads adjoining Repton Avenue making it one of the borough's dirtiest spots.

Seven cases of fly-tipping were reported on Eton Avenue.

Chapter Road - 27 reports

Streets around Chapter Road were another rubbish hotspot.

Streets around Chapter Road were lined with litter, making it another rubbish hotspot.

Churchill Road was the worst affected with 14 counts of fly-tipping there.

Crownhill Road - 26 reports

Crownhill Road was another of Brent's fly-tipping hotspots with 26 instances of things dumped in the streets around it from October 2 to October 6.

Burns road was by far the worst affected street with 18 of the 26 reported cases happening there.

Ealing road - 26 reports

Ealing road came joint fourth with Crownhill Road in the rubbish stakes with 26 counts of fly-tipping reported there in just five days.

Bowron's avenue was the most littered street where 16 separate fly-tipping offences.

Preston Hill - 23 reports

The streets around Preston Hill were also revealed to be a dumping ground for discarded waste.

Shaftesbury Avenue was the street worst hit with 15 of the 23 offences occurring there.
