The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for several areas in west London, including Ruislip and Harrow.

The warnings come after heavy downpours were predicted for the west London area which could lead to localised flooding in areas which receive the highest rainfall or surface water flooding.

The Yeading Brooks East and West at Ruislip and Harrow , the River Pinn and Woodstreams Stream at Pinner , Eastcote , Ruislip , Ickenham , Uxbridge and Yiewsley and the Wealdstone Brooks have all had warnings issued by the Environment Agency.

The alert that has been issued is the lowest possible, meaning that flooding is possible and that residents should be prepared for any potential floods.

Heavy showers are expected to clear by early Wednesday morning with the remainder of tomorrow warm with some isolated showers and the Environment Agency will be continuing to monitor the situation and will issue further warnings if needed.
