A fire at a factory in Park Royal was put out by firefighters on Friday (March 18).

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters dealt with the factory fire in Gorst Road, Park Royal, Ealing .

London Fire Brigade (LFB) said they were called at 1.12pm and added that the fire was under control by 3.14pm.

An LFB spokesperson said around 30 employees were evacuated before firefighters arrived, with no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to LFB.

Crews from fire stations including Park Royal, Acton , Willesden and Wembley attended the incident.

An industrial bread oven on the first floor of the food production factory was damaged in the fire.

LFB added that an extraction system had also caught fire, extending the damage to the roof of the property.
