The final two teenage members of a gang which operated from White City and Shepherd’s Bush selling class A drugs have been sentenced.

Nineteen-year-old Xhemanji Nallbani was jailed for two years and handed a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), while a 17-year-old male from Becklow Road, White City , who cannot be named for legal reasons, was given a three-year CBO, a supervision requirement and Youth Rehabilitation Order until April 2017.

They are the last of a nine-strong organised network of drug dealers who police arrested during a string of coordinated dawn raids earlier this year .

Nallbani, from Cleverly Estate, Wormholt Road in White City, was jailed at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday (November 10), while the youth received his sentence on October 21 at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court.

Their sentences follow on from the previous seven drug dealers who were convicted as part of Operation Anchor, a crackdown on violence and associated crime.

The early morning police raids took place on July 14 and saw 165 officers execute 10 search warrants in the White City Estate and surrounding areas of Shepherds Bush . Class A and B drugs were seized along with £24,000 in cash.

The raids followed concerns raised by the community and information and intelligence gathered by the local policing team.

Those previously convicted are:

  • Emmanuel Rokosu, 19, of Richford Street, Shepherd’s Bush. He was jailed for three years and four months and received a five-year CBO for supplying class A drugs - crack cocaine and heroin. Detective Sergeant Yasser Awad, from Hammersmith and Fulham CID , said: “The sentences delivered are an example to those who choose to concern themselves in destroying communities and taking advantage of vulnerable residents by dealing drugs.”

Chief Superintendent Gideon Springer, Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Commander , said: “We have recognised criminal activity in the form of drug dealing and associated violence in White City which has stemmed from gang-related activity.

“This is just one example of how our policing team is working relentlessly to identify criminals who blight the community with behaviour and activity that has no place on our borough.”
