Filming spotted at Randalls in Uxbridge as lighting equipment and period costumes seen in closed store

Men dressed in 1920s style suits and trilby hats and filming equipment have been spotted in the historic Uxbridge department store

Has a historic shop in Uxbridge town centre been temporarily been transformed into the set of a period film or TV show?

On Thursday evening (October 27) a huge black canopy was erected in Vine Street and lighting equipment was put up in front of Randalls department store, which closed down in January last year .

Staff in high-visibility jackets were stood outside the store, and boxes of what appeared to be sound equipment were lined along the shop front.

Inside the store a group of men were spotted in period costumes possibly from the 1920s.

Wearing darks suits and trilby hats, the men stood in the shop window with the high-powered lighting glaring through to the interior.

It is not clear what is being filmed, but getwestlondon is investigating.
