Field End Road in Ruislip is blocked in both directions after reports of a collision where a person was injured.
The accident happened near Somervell Road and congestion has reportedly built up on Eastcote Lane to Eastcote Lane North and on Field End Road to Eastcote Lane / Victoria Road.
Buses have been diverted following the crash which was first reported at around 1.30pm.
According to reports online a pedestrian was hit by a car and injured in the crash - but this has not been confirmed.

Witness appeal launched
The Metropolitan Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward after the crash.
Police enquiries are ongoing and anyone witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
No arrests made
The Met have said that no arrests have been made after a cyclist was hit by car just before 1pm today (Friday, December 16).
The driver involved stopped at the scene and is said to be assisting police in their enquiries.

Cyclist hit by a car
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed a cyclist was hit by a car in the collision.
A statement from the force said: “Called at 12:43hrs on Friday, 16 December following reports of a collision between a car and cyclist.”
The cyclist has been taken to hospital and the Met are awaiting an update on their injuries.
