Boxers punched the air with delight as they received a £300 donation for new equipment.
The Feltham police boxing club will use the money awarded by MARS Milk Play fund to update its gear including buying punch bags and wall brackets for its members.
Set up in 2007 to encourage young people off the streets and into sport, the club now has 30 members and is open to everyone in the community.
Head coach and club secretary Chris Martin said “We have been using the same equipment for several years now and it has definitely seen better days.
"This donation from the MARS Milk Play Fund will enable us to purchase some new punch bags and wall brackets.”
The MARS Milk Play Fund was set up to help individuals, clubs and groups to play more.
