A man whose body was pulled from a lake in Staines has been named locally as Leon Wilson from Feltham .
Divers searched Lammas Lake for around two hours after reports were made by people concerned for the safety of a person in the water.
A body of a man was recovered from the lake in Wraysbury, Surrey, at around 8pm on Tuesday (July 19).
Around a dozen emergency service vehicles were seen in the area.
Assisting with the search were Surrey police , Surrey Fire and Rescue Service's water search team and the National Police Air Service.
The South East Coast Ambulance also attended the scene.
'So many people are gonna miss you'
Tributes have poured in on social media sites from heartbroken family and friends following the tragic incident.
A heartfelt message from his brother Justin Wilson said: “Love Leon. My brother. RIP.”
Friend Lauren Thatcher wrote: “Never thought I would be saying this so soon, but rest in peace to one of my oldest and closest friends.
"It’s so sad to see you gone so soon. So many people are gonna miss you. But now you can rest safely in peace.
"I’ll never forget all of the good and bad memories we shared with everyone.”
Another friend Luke Cairns wrote he was "heartbroken", while a friend posted on Twitter: “Just heard the sad news about Leon Wilson. RIP my G. You will be missed.”
The death is being treated as unexplained by Surrey Police, but no third party is believed to be involved.
Mr Wilson's next of kin have been informed.
