A teenager, believed to be a 16-year-old boy, has died after falling from a tower block in Feltham .
Metropolitan Police officers were called to Hawthorn Road at 3.35pm following reports of a male having fallen from the 10th floor of Hunter House.
Officers said the teenager, a boy believed to be aged 16, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not believed to be suspicious at this stage.
There were reports on social media ahead of the police confirmation of a medical incident near Feltham Ponds following the arrival of the air ambulance.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at around 3.35pm to reports of a male believed [to have] fallen from the 10th floor of Hunter House, Hawthorn Road, Feltham.
"Officers, London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance all attended but the male - a boy believed aged 16 - was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not believed to be suspicious at this early stage, and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
