A dad from Feltham, whose son is friends with teenage stroke victim Jac Rush, held a fundraiser to drum up donations for two charities.

Around 150 people, including Jac from Hanworth, and his best friend Shay Braham, 18, of Feltham, along with family, friends and colleagues, turned up to the event organised by Mark Braham, 49, who works for Honey Monster Foods.

The event, sponsored by the company, raised more than £2,000 which will be split between The Jac Rush Foundation - to go towards specialist equipment for the teen's rehabilitation - and the Stroke Association.

With the help of his workplace, particularly site manager Richard Pimberly who dressed up as the Honey Monster for the evening, there was also a disco, buffet and raffle prizes.

Mr Braham said the event, which was held at the Hanworth Royal Naval Association Club, was a great success and he was pleased with how it all panned out.
