Police are searching for an 88-year-old man from Ealing who was last scene leaving the A&E department of Charing Cross Hospital on Wednesday (February 8).

Leonard Dunstan was last seen at around 5.36pm at the hospital in Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith.

The Metropolitan Police released a public appeal on Thursday afternoon (February 9) and said they are particularly concerned because Mr Dunstan suffers from dementia

Mr Dunstan is described as a black man of medium build, around 5ft 10ins, with short grey curly hair and bald on top.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a black and white checked shirt and black trousers, and walks with a silver stick.

Leonard is known to frequent the Fulham and Ealing areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 and give reference 17MIS005846, or Missing People on 11600.
