Police are growing increasingly concerned over the wellbeing of a deaf woman who has been missing for more than two months.

Gakleen Shahata, from Marylebone , was last seen attending Golders Green Parish Church in Barnet with her family on February 12.

She went to use the toilets during the service but has not been seen or heard since.

The 39-year-old is deaf and speech-impaired. She understands basic British sign language and some Arabic, and also has mild learning difficulties.

She is British Sudanese, with long brown wavy hair, about 5ft 5ins tall and of heavy build.

At the time of his disappearance she was wearing a bright orange anorak, a white top and white jeans.

She is known to frequent Edgware Road and Hyde Park, and has previously visited Southend in Essex.

Her family and officers are growing increasingly concerned for Gakleen’s wellbeing due to the amount of time she has been missing .
