A woman had her arm broken in a mugging by a chubby man with no hair.

Witnesses are sought by Brent Police to a robbery at 11pm on Sunday December 15 by a man described as 'fat and bald' in which the victim sustained a fracture to her arm.

The 33-year-old woman got off a 223 bus at Forty Avenue, Wembley, at the junction with Bridge Road and started walking towards Barn Hill when she became aware of a man following her. She crossed over the road but he ran towards her demanding she hand over her bag before pushing her to the ground.

The robber ran off towards Forty Lane with her handbag, which contained her mobile phone, bank cards and other personal items.

The victim flagged down a passing car and gone in and she and the driver made a search of the area, but they lost sight of the suspect as he ran towards Chalkhill.

The suspect is a white, late 30s to 40 and wearing a dark coloured coat and trousers.

Investigating officer DC Louise Whittaker said: “This was a frightening attack for the victim, which resulted in her receiving a terrible injury. We are asking for any witnesses to come forward that might be able to help us identify the suspect.”
