A new charity shop has opened in Portobello Road stocking vintage, designer and high-end clothing.
The British Red Cross store opened on July 22 in North Kensington , and features labels including Prada, Chanel, Dior, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, Yves Saint Laurent and Charlotte Olympia.
Berni Considine, area retail manager at the British Red Cross, says: “We have a really exciting selection of designer and vintage pieces for Thursday’s event that has been kindly donated by our sister high end designer store in Kensington and Chelsea along with some lovely quality donations from our supporters.
"This is a great opportunity to bag yourself a bargain to add to your wardrobe. One never needs an occasion to shop especially when the right item is on the hanger!”
In 2013 excited shoppers visited the Chelsea branch of the Red Cross store to buy clothes donated by David and Victoria Beckham .
The store was officially opened by Kensington and Chelsea Mayor Elizabeth Rutherford.
