If you were looking to make a statement, this gold and jewel-encrusted frog bracelet surely wouldn't disappoint.
It went under the hammer this week at Chiswick Auctions with an eye-popping estimate of £18,000 to £25,000.
Whether you find the opulent design exquisite or garish, it certainly leaps out at you.
But the amphibian bracelet by David Webb, which featured a diamond-set mouth, Cabouchon ruby eyes and an articulated body, failed to sell on Tuesday (December 15).
It was part of a fine jewellery and watches sale at the auction house, comprising of a wide range of vintage and modern pieces.
Other star lots in the auction included an art deco white gold, ruby and diamond brooch, which was estimated to fetch £20,000 to £30,000, and emerald and diamond pendant earrings, with an estimate of £10,000 to £15,000.
