We are just hours away from the first ever NFL American Football match to debut at Twickenham Stadium.

Excitement is brewing as the New York Giants prepare to take on the Los Angeles Rams at 2.30pm in Twickenham , to triumph in the road to Super Bowl glory.

And it seems fans are already at the grounds or making their way to the game on this bright Sunday (October 22) morning.

Supporters have been spotted wearing NFL jerseys across the capital in cars, trains and coaches as they prepare to descend on west London.

Twickenham Stadium, the home of English Rugby is located on the Hounslow and Richmond borders, where police and stewards are in place to greet crowds of thousands who will soon descend on the stadium.

A number of road closures and transport changes will be in place all day.

Of course as is the tradition in the US, a 'tailgate' style party will kick off in the West Car Park ahead of the match for ticket holders.

Pre-match mayhem will see fans gather in the car park, open up their car boots and get the party started with an abundance of food and drinks.

Meanwhile residents have started to takeover the stadium's South Piazza for their own festivities along Whitton Road from 9.30am.
