Legendary eighties boy band Wet Wet Wet has been added to this year’s Live at Chelsea summer concert programme.

Marti Pellow and friends are the second of three acts confirmed for the summer shows, after Simply Red was announced at the end of last year .

The group, which enjoyed a 15-week stay at the top of the charts with their cover of Love Is All Around from the Hugh Grant film Four Weddings and Funeral, will perform on June 18.

Their other hits include Julia Says, Don’t Want To Forgive Me Now, and a cover of the Beatles’ With A Little Help From My Friends.

The Live at Chelsea concerts take place in the courtyard of the at Royal Hospital Chelsea .

A portion of the ticket sale proceeds will also go towards funding care for the famous Chelsea Pensioners who live at the hospital, as well as helping to fund the ongoing maintenance of the Grade I listed site.

The announcement means there is only one act left to reveal before the Live at Chelsea line-up in complete.

Simply Red will bring the concerts to a close on June 19, with the June 17 act yet to be announced.

The concerts follow the success of the first Live at Chelsea programme last year, which included artists such as Alison Moyet.
