A shop's front and first floor roof have been damaged by a fire in Edgware Road.

Four fire engines from London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called to the shop at 1.28pm on Saturday (June 3).

The blaze was over by 2.27pm.

Most of the shops external fascia was damaged along with part of the first floor roof.

A passer-by saw smoke and flames coming from behind a shop sign before alerting people inside.

There were no injuries.

Fire crews from Paddington, Kensington, Brixton and North Kensington were at the scene.
