A petrified teenager who was tortured after being kidnapped in the street by members of a drugs gang was told by them that the worst was yet to come, a jury heard.

The gang members, who allegedly included Agon Metrama, of Garlinge Road, Kilburn , threatened to take Abdulrahman Hassan, 17, to a lonely woodland spot and put a bullet in him, Guildford Crown Court was told.

Witness Adam Woods told the trial, where Metrama stands accused of conspiracy to kidnap and false imprisonment along with a co-defendant: “They told him he would be shot in the woods."

Mr Woods, 27, claimed one of the gang members said: “He’s had nothing yet.”

Mr Hassan, who went by the nickname Smiley, was thrown into a car in Ashford, Middlesex, by the men who accused him of stealing money and an iPhone containing drug dealing information.

The court heard that at an apartment at The Gateway in Weybridge, Surrey, he was stripped and held prisoner and had his hands burned by a lighter. He was bitten and stabbed with a needle he was told was full of heroin , but was actually empty.

Mr Woods, who was staying at the property at the time of the incident on January 17 this year, said Mr Hassan was groaning in pain and shouting: “No. No. Punch me instead.”

Andrew Moore, 41, of Barnfield Gardens, Kingston-Upon-Thames, and 21-year-old Metrama both deny being part of the offences.

Other defendants have already entered pleas to the same charges.

Victim's father was '10 seconds away from being taken'

Mr Woods said that Moore, nicknamed Yogi, put the syringe needle into the naked captive.

“Andy was the one to inject him. He was punching him as well,” he said.

The witness claimed Metrama was laughing at Mr Hassan and interrogating him, saying: "Where’s the 10 grand? I want my 10 grand now or otherwise you’re f***ed”

Mr Woods said that Metrama told Mr Hassan as he was being beaten: “You’re lucky I’ve beaten a number of youths this week already or I’d be laying into you as well.”

He added: “Yogi was looking at Smiley and laughing.”

Mr Woods added that Metrama had boasted of leaving a number of teenagers with scars as punishment for robbing him.

Ms Husbands said the gang members had plotted the kidnapping in advance and were seconds away from kidnapping Hassan's father as a substitute until they spotted the teenager near a restaurant in Ashford.

'I wasn't going to do their dirty work'

Continuing his evidence, Mr Woods said the victim was stripped naked and filmed by one of the kidnappers, with one of the gang members asking: “What the f*** do you think you are stealing from my home?”

Mr Woods was told to burn the teenager's clothes, but instead left them in a bag to be found later at the flat by police. He told the court he thought the gang should do their own dirty work.

Following his ordeal Mr Hassan was allegedly then put into the boot of a car and driven to London where he managed to escape before wandering injured into St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, telling staff: “I’ve been kidnapped.”

The defendants were later arrested.

The trial continues.
