Young performers from Isleworth were given a starring role at Disneyland Paris as they dazzled visitors to the world-famous theme park.

Students from Stagecoach Performing Arts Isleworth showed off their dance moves when they took part in the famous Pre-Parade.

They joined young people from 23 other Stagecoach schools across the country in the parade on Thursday July 21, after securing their places in auditions earlier this year.

Valerie Weyland, principal of the Isleworth performing arts school, described watching them strut their stuff following months of rehearsals as an incredibly proud moment.

"For many of the students it was their first time performing in front of such a big audience and they were very excited. I am so impressed by their commitment and have seen their confidence grow with every rehearsal," she added.

"Being on stage at Disneyland is a once in a lifetime experience and we certainly made lifelong memories at Disneyland this summer."

Students took part in the Pre-Parade as part of the Disney Performing Arts OnStage programme.
