Detectives have launched in investigation into an alleged kidnap and assault in Ealing.

A woman in her early 20s was pulled into the back seat of a silver car at Haven Green, near Ealing Broadway underground station, on Friday August 18.

In the passenger seat a white male - known to the woman - got out of the car and pushed the female in, the Metropolitan Police said.

He is described as tanned and also in his early 20s.

The driver of the vehicle was an Asian man in his late 20s.

All three drove off.

The incident is believed to have happened between 10am and 11am.

Officers are keen to speak to a member of the public who found and helped the female victim several days later in West Ealing.

Police described the woman as being in her late teens to early 20s, with purple hair and who spoke with an Irish accent.

The victim was found in a distressed state and in need of clothing on Tuesday August 22.

She received medical treatment.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with iinformation and witnesses following the incident.

A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with investigation and has been bailed to return on a date in mid-September.
