Brentford FC's current run of form which has seen them top League 1, has won the admiration of none other than the Prime Minister.
While visiting Brentford this morning to meet local small business entrepreneurs, the PM couldn't resist a cheeky mention of the Bees, and some words of encouragement.
He said: "My son told me how well they were doing and I saw in the paper today that they are top of the league so my best wishes go to them to keep up the good work."
Mayor of London Boris Johnson is due to make a decision on whether or not to support the club's bid for a 20,000 seater stadium at Lionel Road South this Wednesday (January 29).
Hounslow Council has already approved the plan.
