Religious artefacts have been found dumped in a plastic bag on an estate in Fulham.
Eight crucifixes and a plaque depicting Jesus Christ were discovered by police officers from Hammersmith & Fulham carrying out a patrol on Clem Attlee Estate on July 24.
Police suspect they were stolen from a church, and have released an image of the loot in the hope of finding the owner.
PC Ryan Campbell, from Fulham Broadway Local Policing Team, said: “The crucifixes and plaque are wooden and brass. We believe they may have been stolen from a church and would like to return them to their rightful owner.”
Anyone with information can call Hammersmith & Fulham Police on 020 8246 2336 or 101.
