Tension between Crossrail 2 developers and residents in King's Road has been an ongoing issue where Chelsea's proposed station is concerned - but what will happen next?

After a consultation in October 2015 where 19,000 people were asked their views on the project , results were released in March 2016 which showed a large majority does not want the station to be situated in King's Road.

However, campaigners have since not received any further news, but in an interview with getwestlondon , Crossrail 2 director Michele Dix explained what is happening behind the scenes on the development front and what will happen next.

The head of the group campaigning to keep Crossrail 2 out of Chelsea says senior politicians in the capital are “not convinced” by the Transport for London (TfL) proposals, but with the project gaining government funding, plans are beginning to fall into place for the rail.
