Police in Hammersmith are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing homeless man who left hospital, and has still not returned two days later.

53-year-old David Middleton, who has no fixed abode, was last seen at 4pm on Friday (May 20) leaving Charing Cross Hospital .

David is homeless and suffers from anxiety and depression and there is concern for his mental well being.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and short dark hair.

David is known to visit the Tooting Broadway, Tooting Bec and Tooting common area.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a baseball cap, brown jacket, cream shirt, trousers and trainers.

Police would urge anyone with information on Mr Middleton's whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000 quoting reference number:16MIS020926.
