Police are desperately searching for a missing 71-year-old from Stanmore who suffers from dementia.

Gerry Heslin, of Jersey Avenue, was last seen at 9am on Monday (September 18) in the Stanmore area of west London.

According to Harrow Police , Gerry suffers with high blood pressure, an alcohol dependency and dementia.

He is described as a white mate, 5ft 7ins tall, of a slim build and with grey receding hair.

The 71-year-old is known to frequent Cricklewood Broadway and Kilburn High Road.

A spokesman for Metropolitan Police said officers are "increasingly concerned" for Gerry.

They said: "We would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000."
