Events to whet the festive spirit will take place in Paddington when the world famous Coca-Cola Christmas truck drives into town .

It will pull into Paddington Central on December 22, and is part of a series of activities being held in the run-up to Christmas .

Highlights include Father Christmas making a special entrance when he sails in on a boat on the Grand Union Canal near Little Venice and giant snow globes in Paddington Central’s Sheldon Square.

Officer workers and shoppers will have the chance to get up close and pet reindeer when the animals stop off on December 10 between 11am and 3pm, and at 1pm, Father Christmas will arrive on a canal boat.

On December 18 a giant Snow Globe will take centre stage in Sheldon Square from 11.30am to 4.30pm as Paddington Central joins in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day . It will see visitors get the chance to wear their festive jumper and have photos taken inside the snow globe. Those who then share their merry memento on social media and tag Paddington Central on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram will have a chance to win an early Christmas present.

And on December 22 Coca-Cola’s Christmas truck is stopping off at Paddington Central as part of its nationwide tour which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the iconic ‘Holidays are Coming’ TV ad.
